Geoff Yule, CA
“Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life” – Confucius
Geoff grew up in the West Kootenays and attended University at Simon Fraser in Burnaby. After graduating in 1983 he secured an articling position with Price Waterhouse in Vancouver. Geoff transferred to Geneva, Switzerland in 1986 and spent three years performing audits of large multi-national corporations. Upon returning to Vancouver he was selected to be part of the group that launched a new Price Waterhouse office in Surrey, BC. Once this office was successfully established he left Vancouver and returned with his family to the West Kootenays. In 1993 Geoff took over the practice started by Henry John CA in 1977, today known as Yule Anderson, Chartered Accountants.
Coming back to Castlegar 16 years ago has given Geoff the opportunity to ‘give back’ to the Community he grew up in. Family is extremely important to Geoff and he also has a passion for engaging youth in the community. He is the Rotary District 5080 Interact Committee Chair and has travelled to both Honduras and Bolivia twice with the SHSS Interact Club. He has been an active member of the Castlegar Aquanauts for the past 14 years, the British Columbia Summer Swim Association Kootenay Region Treasurer as well as having coached girls soccer for the past 11 years. Geoff is also a past member of the Castlegar Rotary Club and a charter member of the Sunrise Rotary Club.

Ron Anderson, CA

Ron was raised in Nelson and obtained his Bachelor of Administrative Studies degree from Selkirk College in collaboration with the Open University. Upon graduation, Ron began an articling position with PricewaterhouseCoopers in January 1995. He spent five years providing audit, accounting, tax and general business advice to PriceWaterhouseCoopers' clients before making the decision to return to the West Kootenays. He joined Yule Anderson in 1999 and became a Partner in 2000.
Ron credits much of his personal success to the strong foundation he received from his Selkirk College education and volunteers a significant amount of his time ‘giving back’ to the college and mentoring the Business Administration and Accounting students. He is a Lifetime Member of the Selkirk College Board of Governors and Chairman of the Selkirk College Business Administration Advisory Group. Ron was recently recognized by Selkirk College for his “outstanding achievements in his field” by being awarded the 2010 Distinguished Alumnus Award.
A sports enthusiast, Ron enjoys supporting his young family’s athletic pursuits while also participating in golf and curling himself. He is currently CP of the Castlegar Curling Club and actively supports the work of the Castlegar Curling Club's Treasurer. |

Gaetana Dermody, CA

Gaetana is a Senior Manager with Yule Anderson and has been with the firm since 2000. Gaetana is currently a member of the Selkirk College Board of Governors where she is also a Selkirk College alumnus. Outside of the office, Gaetana is very active and enjoys spending time with her family, biking, jogging, hiking and skiing.

Pam has been with Yule Anderson since 1995 and is one of the firm’s Senior Managers. Outside the office Pam is quite involved with the Castlegar Curling Club and enjoys spending time with her family, golfing and camping.
